[Excalibur] The Abyss! This Saturday!

Hey all,

This Saturday, at 8:00PM in the East Lecture Hall, will see a screening of The
Abyss, the special edition no less!

The Abyss is one of those timeless sci-fi classics that shaped so many of our
childhoods. A dive team is sent in to salvage a lost nuclear submarine. Of
course this is a sci-fi classic, not some close quarters submarine epic about
suppressed feelings for the first mate. The crew begin to encounter strange
things beneath the dark seas, an alien presence that would go down in history
as the first computer animated character to enter live action, and still one of
the best to this day.
