Hey, this is exciting, so I thought I'd pass it along!

Dear Excalibur,

This year Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Science Fiction Society is
printing its second edition of Wedgefic, a magazine of science fiction,
fantasy, and horror devoted to printing new and established writers
still
attending university.

After a successful print run last year entirely on-campus, we'd like to
branch out and get new writers from all over New England. There are
probably a few writers in your sci-fi group; some of them might even
want
to go pro. If you could let them know about Wedgefic as a place to
submit
their work, you'd be doing everyone a huge favor.

Although we do not pay for publication, Wedgefic is a selective
magazine,
and is a legitimate credit in the speculative fiction industry! (not
much
of one, we'll admit, but still…)

If anyone is interested, they can find writer's guidelines at
http://www.wpi.edu/~sfs/wedgefic

The (negotiable, please query) submission deadline for Wedgefic 2006 is
March 16, to be published this August.

For more information, you can email wedgefic at wpi.edu, and either I or
one
of the Fiction Editors will respond promptly.

Thanks, and good writing!

Adam Nakama
Wedgefic Editor-in-Chief
WPISFS Librarian
