The Aikido Club promotes the practice of Aikido among Hampshire students. If you want to know more about what Aikido is, start with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aikido If you have any questions about it, don't be afraid to contact me! We're going to be car pooling to Aikido of Northampton, a United States Aikido Federation dojo in Florence, MA. Their website is http://www.aikidoofnorthampton.org/ We are meeting Monday and Thursday at 5:20 PM and Saturday at 8:20 AM in the Prescott Parking Lot to car pool to this dojo. (If you want to go Wednesday, just call me around 5pm.) All are welcome, including beginners! If you don't have a gi (martial arts uniform), then just come in sweatpants or loose casual cloths without a belt. The first class is free and there are no obligations or anything like that. This dojo wants absolutely new students to just watch a class before trying their first class, so you can do that if you want. We are also working to try to get Aikido on campus, and we may need to have a big meeting to decide on a good time for everyone. We will post again if/when we know this meeting will be happening.
